Ko Samui island is located in the southern province of Suratthani in the Gulf of Thailand, approximately 700 kilometers southeast of Bangkok.


Short direct flights to Samui island depart several times a day from Bangkok, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. The airport is small, open air and just what you would expect from a picture perfect tropical island. Train, bus and boat also get you there, depending on your urgency to arrive.

Samui island is Thailand's third largest covering an area of 247 sq km it is 25 kilometers at it's longest point and 21 kilometers at its widest.
