At Yogaion we practice interdisciplinary Yoga which is derived from different yoga traditions: Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Anusara, it is designed beyond the forms and traditions. It focuses on the essence of Yoga tradition which is an instrument to reveal the truth of our existence, the spiritual being. It is a spiritual practice, which is based on Anusara Yoga and follows a Tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness and heart openers. Every Yoga class is set with a beautiful intention to open up your heart and connect to something bigger. The class is a mix of Pranayama (breathing exercises), Asana’s (yoga postures) and Spiritual revelation. During the Yoga lessons we aim at bringing Inner Awareness into our Personal Yoga practice, so there will no longer be a form of Yoga but the true connection to Yoga and self-understanding of Yoga. Thus it becomes a spiritual practice for each student.

Exclusive: WAVES WITHIN RETREAT at Yogaion The Waves Within retreat is going to be an intensive Surf and Yoga retreat aimed at people who want best of both worlds. There will be beautiful Meditation and Yoga sessions in the morning, followed by loads of fun on the beach, playing with the waves catching the surf. After that we will end the day with a lovely restorative Yoga session, so that your mind, body and soul will be ready for the next day of love, light and fun! Also all the food will be based on a healthy, vegetarian diet so that you will leave the retreat re-energized and rejuvaneted! Therapies at Yogaion During the week there will be a lovely range of different massage therapies all given by amazing therapists. The therapies will include: hot stamp massage (Matthias Franz), accupuncture, shiatsu & qigong (Peter Hall), Macrobiotic Cooking Workshop (Neelam). All the therapies will be at extra cost and paid directly to the therapist.. Free Time at Yogaion There is lots of things to do in your free time. Enjoy a lovely massage, explore the area walking, go for a swim in the resorts swimming pool. Go to the beach to relax or surf. (We can arrange surf lessons with a certified surf school. )Or just chill out and relax in the resort. Whatever you decide to do, it will for sure be a wonderful experience.
